A) What trend was the article highlighting?

The trend that the article was highlighting was "think before you post" and to keep in mind that colleges are viewing your social media.  It was created to raise awareness in teens that when they post they need to keep in mind that anyone may be able to view their post, and to be aware of what they are saying and how others may react. 

B) Do you think this trend will continue?   Why?

Yes, i believe this trend will continue. Of course not everyone is going to think along the lines of this trend and take it into consideration. But, majority of teens will begin to use this. Once they realize the consequences of not doing so, and the affects it can have on their reputation, this trend will continue to spread gradually throughout all age groups.

C) Explain how the behavior outlined in the article could affect a student’s future education and employment opportunities.

The behavior outlined in the article could affect a students future education and employment opportunities in drastic ways. By viewing a post like the one talked about in the article, your entire life and reputation could change. When you go into an interview for a job, you want to present yourself in the best of ways. But, if they check your social media outlets and preform background checks and see inappropriate things, your chances of receiving that decreases.
